WHSmith has been working with the Woodland Trust to cut plastic bag usage for a number of years. 

Whilst progress has been made, UK shoppers are still getting through almost 10 billion bags a year, causing real damage to the environment.

To help try and cut that number, WHSmith customers are able to buy a high-quality reusable bag for 6p, made from 100% recycled materials.  As well as reducing waste going to landfill, each purchase will see a donation being given to the Woodland Trust to help conserve our precious native woodland in the UK.
